PREFERENCES WRITING STYLE → third person present tense or third person past tense. never first person, and i would really prefer to not play off this writing style, if it's all the same to you. BRACKETS → either with or without is fine, although i default to prose without brackets. i'm cool with brackets in memes, though, if you'd rather. TAGS → quality over quantity, as they say. i tend to get a bit wordy, but try to keep my tag length to whatever best suits the response. i don't expect everyone i write with to produce novels for me, though, so whatever you've got in your arsenal is fine, providing you give me something to work with. BACKTAGGING → i will backtag for daaaays, so no problem there! THE FOURTH WALL → pass. i'm not a big fan of breaking the fourth wall, but if you find it necessary to the line, ask me before assuming, yeah? i'll do the same for you. PLOTTING → i love plotting! live for it! canon, au, whatever! if you have an idea, no matter how outlandish, don't be afraid to PM me or leave a comment in my contact entry to discuss. GAMES → i work full-time, sometimes an inordinate amount of overtime, so games can be a bit difficult for me to keep up with. that said, if we mesh well enough, the premise is interesting to me and you're so inclined, i can give it a shot. CROSSOVERS → just about always welcome in my book. all depends on the fandom and character, but i'm generally pretty game for these. as stated above, just get in contact with me if you have an idea for a psl. my current list of crossover interests can be found here. SHIPPING → all the shippy goodness, yes, bring it! i primarily ship rose with the doctor (eight, nine, ten and twelve) but there are always exceptions to the rule! when in doubt, ask. SMUT → i don't have a problem writing sex scenes as long as they come with plot, lots of it, and well before anything even remotely sexual transpires between our characters. i don't really post to smut memes, but if you choose a prompt that is, just clear it with me first unless otherwise stated. they bore the frell out of me without plot, so it'd have to be a fairly compelling situation. TRIGGERS → can't say that i have any that i am currently aware of, but if you think it might (rape, for instance, i find entirely unnecessary) then ask first. non-sexual violence, however, is 100% welcome as long as it serves the plot. i adore angst, so i won't often shy from dark situations that add to it! DRAMA → check your neurosis at the door, please. if you need to talk, that's fine, i understand that the struggle is real, but don't be a psycho. honestly, i will hit the ground running and whatever we have going will get dropped like a hot potato if you get weird. bottom line: don't be a dick and we will get on swimmingly! OOC CHATTING → i'm pretty easy to get on with and i love making new friends, but it isn't necessary to write with me. if you're asocial, that's totally cool, as long as you're down for a little character discussion when called for.
